Christian discipleship is a call to communion with God and others. We are not meant to be isolated beings. We are created and called to be a community of people united with God and one another. The key to success in life is to discover what this communion means and live it in our daily lives. Fr. Binu, author and psychotherapist, shares his thoughts and reflections on this theme through a retreat on March 8-10, 2018. Take a little time off from your busy schedule to take advantage of this great opportunity in Lent to refresh and renew your life.
Father Binu, MSFS, is a member of the Missionaries of Saint Francis de Sales. He holds a Masters in Psychology and a Masters in Christian Studies from Madras University. He received his Doctorate in Family Therapy from Saint Louis University. He completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship in Child Trauma at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Additionally, he has an advanced training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. Since his ordination as a priest, Fr. Binu has worked as a clinician, hospital chaplain, associate pastor, provincial secretary, and faculty member in the seminary. Fr. Binu has authored three books, The Accent: Exploring the Path to a Rejuvenating Life (2015), I Am Who I Am: Unraveling the Mystery of God (2017), and Strangers to Spouses: A Study of the Relationship Quality in Arranged Marriages in India (2017).
